Technology(part 2)

Technology is the most useful form of science for the general population. In simple words, technology is when we take the concepts of science and transform them into gadgets and devices that are useful to us as human beings.

When we look around us, almost everything is a result of or a form of technology.
For example, the device you are using right now is a form of technology made for communication, or the refrigerator in your kitchen is a use of science that helps to keep your food fresh and cool. With these examples, we see how dependent we are on technology and how important it is for us in our daily lives.
It isn’t easy to imagine our lives without using any form of technology. For the smallest of communications, we tend to turn to our mobile phones. Even most of the food we eat is packaged in factories using various technologies. Thus, imagining a life without technology is impossible. It is not only a fact of life but also a necessity for all of us.
In fact, the smartphone, that is, a mobile phone which can connect to the internet, is becoming one of the fastest-growing and most accessible forms of technology around the world. On a smartphone, you can click photographs, browse the internet, listen to music, and use social media. With the advent of smartphone technology, the practical purpose of not only communicating with your friends is met, but also so many others, as mentioned.
Thus, in today’s world, the importance of technology becomes more and more as the years pass. Scientists have done so much to advance humans using technology, and we still have a long way to go.
Technology is the scientific knowledge to create and invent new devices and machines to facilitate humans.
The arrival of different devices and machines have made life more easier. Technology is defined as the use of scientific knowledge to create and produce something to enhance and improve life.
Science and technology and interdependent on each other, advance in the filed of science brings advance in technology.
The research, experiments and observations that are conducted in the field of science help to design and produce technological products and devices that benefit humanity.
Nowadays people have become accustomed to the use of technological inventions, humans can not do without them. If we will remove technology life will become difficult.
Technology has become an increasing presence in society. Most of it has been for the better, but there is a dark side to technology that has been forming. Many works of literature have been written in order to expose this negative presence. The Circle by Dave Eggers, published in 2013, follows a young woman, Mae throughout her new job. She has started working at a tech company, which becomes increasingly invasive and controlling of everyone’s lives. Similarly, in The Truman Show directed by Peter Weir, released in 1998, a man named Truman has been raised in a world which he believes to be real, but it has actually been manipulated for a television show. Likewise, in Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, published in 1953, Montag, a firefighter…show more content…
(Weir 1998). Marlon was a paid actor, who had actually been pretending to be Truman’s friend all along. And yet, still, when Truman was discovering everything, his so-called best friend continued to lie to him. Truman was not purposely isolating himself, but technologyforced him to become separated. His relationships had originally been real to him, as he had no idea it was all a lie for his whole life. Also, in Fahrenheit 451, Montag and his wife, Mildred, become increasingly detached from each other. As explained, “Well, wasn’t there a wall between him and Mildred, when you came down to it? Literally not just one wall but, so far, three!” (Bradbury). Mildred has become consumed with her parlour walls, which are interactive walls similar to a television. She has become so preoccupied that she has completely shut herself off from Montag. Their relationship has been broken by both the figurative and literal walls put up by technology. In all of these instances, individuals have become increasingly separated from others due to their obsession with technology.
A distorted reality of authenticity forms in a society where technology has become prominent.
